WWII PDL German K98 Long Mauser Bayonet w/Scabbard + Frog

Description

WWII German Long Dress Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked with a helmet with a sword through it, which stands for P.D.L. (Peter D. Luneschloss). The blade is mostly clean, has not been sharpened, the tip is a little sharp, and there a just a few scabbard scratches with some minor age spots. The lock button is functional. The black enameled scabbard is solid with one tiny ding, scattered paint loss throughout, and the frog stud will move if you force it. Leather washer is intact. The leather frog is a little dry, crazing throughout, and the stitching is tight. Length of the blade measures 9 3/4" (15/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 5/8", in the scabbard it is 15 7/8", and the frog alone is 8 1/4".
