    Description

    German Youth Knife made by PUMA. Solingen Germany in 1936.  These were issued to the German youth who were trained by the military and were expected to join the military when old enough. Many carried the knife with them, later during the war. The knife has been used some as you see..the blade has been ground slightly and sharpened. Other spots of light corrosion..I believe it originally had a black synthetic handle..it appears the wood handle is a replacement which fits well but is cracked. The blade is just a little loose but straight and sharp...the finest steel blades available were produced in Solingen. The sheath is in reasonable condition with light surface corrosion..the leather is still strong with a working snap. The knife snaps into the sheath very nicely.  Check the fotos carefully for condition. Sold as is.
