    Description

From my grandmother's estate is this pre-1952 Halliburton briefcase or attache case. It is 18" by 13" by 5" and weighs 6 pounds. My grandfather used this suitcase all over the world when he was in the Army. There are scuffs and two little dents, like anything over 70 years old, but nothing that will affect its use. The hinges and latches, interior and exterior, work great. It has one hole drilled in the top; I'm not sure why. I do not have a key, but I understand a locksmith could replace it. The interior is red leather, and it is worn and well-used, but still very functional. The strap on one side of the case is broken/gone (please see photos). It is ready for another century of use. It would protect a laptop very well, and might fit disassembled camera gear. Or maybe you are James Bond and need a case to hold a million dollars?
If there is a more economical way to ship, I am happy to work that out with the buyer, and I am happy to combine shipping as well.
