    Description

These beautiful gardens are located on 5th Street. They were designed in 1910 by Henry Phillips of Milton, MA. The gardens add grace and charm to the private Irwin Home in the same block. The original design was on the outskirts of the ruins of Pompeii. Today, a copy is in the villa of the Emperor Hadrian at Tivoli. This view is looking to the north. The approximate 4 x 6 inch card is in good condition, some dings, aging on the back, with wear on the corners.
