Extremely rare and hard to find Art-Deco ceramic wall plaque, designed by Austrian Karl Grossl.
This particular item is only 1 of 10 original hand-made and hand-painted wall plaques of this design.
Research places this within the 1930's Art Deco period, possibly 1934.
The reverse has the following inscription and/or stamps:
Inscribed: 157-109
Inscribed: CZECHOSLOVAKIA
Stamped: FBS within a circle (importer/exporter stamp).
Item measures 11 x 10 inches.
There has been some past repairs (see pictures).
