    Description

    This is an antique oval serving plate made in Vienna, Austria and based on the Hallmark the period it was made was late 1800's to early 1900's.  It was brought directly to the USA by a family that had lived in Vienna in the 1800's and early 1900's.
    The size is 12" x 8" and it is only 1/2" deep.  It is a serving plate probably used for fruit, relish or maybe cheese. It could also be used with a tea set or as an undertray for gravy or cream/sugar.  The base color is bone with flowers in yellow with petals of green and tan. It appears to be hand painted and the flowers carry up the sides.  The rim appears to have gold trim.
    This service plate is in excellent condition with no visible cracks, scratches or defects.  Always a display piece in a smoke free home.
