  • Condition: This is an original Authentic German Africka Corp Bayonet w/ canvas frog for a k98 mauser rifle. Circa 1940's . The bayonet is in Good origanal condition with some surface rust on the scabbard and top of the bayonet. The blade itself is in very good condition. The blade is marked JWH the top of the bayonet has markings too. THIS IS A RARE BAYONET> RARE MARKINGS. made by the Manufacture National. "Staatiche Waffenfabrink" Ghatellerault IN FRANCE! BAYONET MAKER MARKED JWH ARE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER AND SCARELY ENCOUNTERED IN GOOD CONDITION. See photos. the blade has the numbers 4271 .The frog is canvas and is in good condition. stitches are all good shape. bayonet is 15 3/16 long. 17 inches over all with scabbard and canvas frog. This bayonet was in a ww2 american belt and straps . So I think an american soldier might have used it in the war. Captured. The belt and straps are going to be posted soon. This is a nice ww2 Africka corps bayonet. Hard to Find.....

    GOOD USED original Afrika Corps German Bayonet with Blade is MARKED JWH Was made in France in 1942.  canvas frog, good used condition with war staining on the frog. Not matching scabbard.   And is a Good  JWH marked Bayonet.
    HARD TO FIND. RARE.      Scabbard number is 4252.   and this is a 1942 blade marked on the back of the blade. The scabbard is a JWH scabbard marked JWH 42 marked on the reverse side of the scabbard towards the top.
